Eric S. George Event Center is a versatile multi-purpose event space that can be used for various types of events, including weddings, corporate events, and private parties.
The capacity of Eric S. George Event Center varies depending on the type of event and the setup. However, it can accommodate up to 150 guests.
You should reserve as early as possible. Event center rentals are reserved on a first come basis. Deposits are required to hold reservations. Your reservation/event date is not confirmed until we receive the deposit.
A non-refundable deposit in the amount of $250 will be required to secure your
event on the calendar. All payments must be paid through the payment link sent to the email on file. A 3% charge will be added to all invoices for the credit card processing fee.
We encourage you to come and view the facility and the amenities offered before booking. To schedule your site visit, please call us to arrange a time. Eric S. George Event Center offers various amenities, including catering services, audiovisual equipment, and event planning assistance.
The length of time for your rental will be outlined in your contract. The total time of the rental includes time for setup and breakdown. All activities need to be completed within the contracted time frame.
After booking your reservation with the $250 deposit, you are locked in to your reservation date. You are allowed 1 date reschedule based on availability. Reschedules have to be completed within 6 months of original booking date.
Refunds requested 45 days prior to the scheduled event will be refunded in full minus the deposit. No refunds will be issued for any event for any reason for any events that are scheduled within 45 days. Please use the provision to change your event to another date as stated above. Rescheduled change requests are pending center availability.
The deposit is due at time of booking. The full balance is due 7 days prior to your event. You will receive a payment reminder via email to the email we have on file.
Alcohol may be served but it may not be sold. Additionally, if alcohol will be served, you must use the services of our contracted security officer. A special waiver is required for any and all events where alcohol will be served.
Yes. The event center’s decorating services are available at an additional charge and should be arranged in advance. Please speak with the coordinator for event decorating requests.
Your rental includes the use of tables and chairs (up to 150), use of the kitchen facility for food preparation (no cooking is allowed), use of the warmer, use of the refrigerator, and ice machine.
No decorations may be attached to any wall surfaces. This includes: nails, pins, tacks, or tape. All décor must be self-supported and free standing. No use of candles. No spray glitter, sparklers, or confetti is allowed.
Smoking of any kind (including vapes and hookahs) is not allowed in the building at any time.
The facility should be returned in pre-rented condition. All linens should be removed from tables. All items brought into the kitchen facility must be removed. Trash must be bagged (bags provided) and taken to trash bins located at the back door. No items are allowed to be stored overnight. Should you decide you use rental services for chairs or any decorating items, those items must be removed at the end of the rental. No items can be left overnight. No exceptions.
